덤보의 단어 바다 개인정보처리방침
덤보의 단어 바다는 이름·이메일·전화번호·위치를 묻지 않습니다. 가입도 로그인도 없습니다. 개발자가 운영하는 서버도 없어서, 학습 기록은 여러분 기기 안에만 저장됩니다. 다만 광고·발음·이용 통계는 Google·Apple 같은 회사의 서비스를 쓰므로, 무엇이 어디로 가는지 아래에 그대로 적습니다.
기기에 저장되는 것
게임을 이어서 하려면 기록이 남아 있어야 합니다. 아래 정보는 기기 안에만 저장되고 개발자에게 오지 않습니다.
- 단계별 별과 열린 단계
- 단어마다 맞힌 횟수와 틀린 횟수
- 조개(게임 안에서만 쓰는 보상) 잔액, 산 홈 배경과 고른 배경
- 덤보 돌보기 기록
- 설정 — 효과음·배경음악 켜짐과 볼륨, 발음 속도
- 끝까지 한 판 수(전면 광고 차례를 세는 데 씀), 첫 실행 로고를 보았는지
- 알림 받기 설정과 마지막으로 논 날(그날은 알림을 건너뜀)
앱을 지우면 이 정보도 함께 지워집니다. 게임 안 설정 › 기록 지우기로 학습 기록·별·조개를 지울 수 있습니다 (산 홈 배경, 소리 설정, 판 수는 남습니다). 기기의 백업 기능을 켜 두었다면 이 기록이 기기 백업에 함께 들어갈 수 있습니다.
발음(음성 합성)
단어를 읽어 줄 때 기기에 들어 있는 음성 합성 기능을 씁니다. 읽을 영어 단어가 그 기능에 전달되며, 기기의 음성 엔진 설정에 따라 엔진을 만든 회사(예: Google, Apple)의 서버에서 처리될 수 있습니다. 이름이나 연락처는 함께 가지 않습니다.
광고
덤보의 단어 바다는 Google AdMob을 통해 화면 위쪽 배너와, 다섯 판마다 한 번 전면 광고를 보여 줍니다. 광고를 고르고 보여 주고 부정 클릭을 막는 과정에서 Google이 기기 정보를 수집·이용할 수 있습니다. 예를 들면 광고 식별자(Android 광고 ID, iOS에서 추적을 허용한 경우 IDFA), IP 주소와 그로부터 추정한 대략적인 위치, 기기·앱 정보, 광고를 보고 누른 기록입니다. 이 처리는 Google의 정책을 따릅니다.
광고는 전체 이용가(G) 등급만 나오도록 제한해 두었습니다.
광고 선택은 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.
- 유럽·영국 등에서는 처음 켤 때 광고 동의 창이 뜹니다. 게임 안 설정 › 광고 개인정보 선택에서 다시 고를 수 있습니다.
- Android: 기기 설정 › 개인정보 보호 › 광고에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있습니다.
- iOS: 처음 켤 때 광고 식별자(IDFA) 안내와 함께 앱 추적 허용을 묻습니다(버전 1.2.0부터). 허용하지 않아도 모든 기능을 쓸 수 있으며, 기기 설정 › 개인정보 보호 및 보안 › 추적에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다.
이용 통계
몇 명이 언제 앱을 쓰는지 보려고 Google Firebase 애널리틱스를 씁니다. 앱 설치·실행, 머문 시간, 단계 시작·끝(단계 번호, 맞힌 수) 같은 사용 기록과 앱 설치마다 만들어지는 ID, 기기·운영체제 정보, IP 주소로 추정한 대략적인 지역이 Google로 전송됩니다. 이름·연락처·광고 식별자는 보내지 않으며, 광고 맞춤에 쓰지 않습니다. 다만 앱 설치·실행 기록은 Google 광고에서 우리 앱 광고가 설치로 이어졌는지 재는 데 (광고 성과 측정) 쓰일 수 있습니다(버전 1.3.0부터). 오류 보고는 보내지 않습니다. 광고 동의가 필요한 지역에서 동의하지 않으면 이용 통계도 보내지 않습니다. 이 처리는 Google 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
앱 안 결제
전면 광고 제거, 캐릭터(바다 토끼), 꾸미기 세트를 앱 안에서 살 수 있습니다(버전 1.2.0부터). 결제는 Google Play 또는 App Store가 처리하며, 우리는 카드 번호 등 결제 정보를 받지 않습니다. 산 상품의 종류는 기기 안에 저장되고, 스토어의 구매 복원으로 다시 받을 수 있습니다. 구매 기록은 이용 통계(Firebase)에도 상품 이름과 금액으로 남을 수 있습니다.
알림
게임 안 설정 › 알림 받기를 켜면 매일 16:30·19:30에 단어 공부를 알려 드립니다. 그날 이미 했으면 건너뜁니다. 기기 안에서 예약하는 알림이라 아무 정보도 밖으로 나가지 않으며, 같은 자리에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다.
이용 연령
어린이부터 어른까지 영어 단어를 익히도록 만든 게임이며, 13세 미만 어린이만을 위한 앱은 아닙니다. 누구에게도 개인 정보를 묻지 않고, 광고는 전체 이용가 등급으로 제한합니다.
제3자 제공
정보를 팔지 않습니다. 위에 적은 Google(광고·이용 통계)과 기기의 음성 엔진 제공자만 앱을 돌리는 데 필요한 만큼 처리합니다.

Dumbo Words (덤보의 단어 바다) — Privacy Policy
Dumbo Words does not ask for your name, email, phone number or location. There is no sign-up or login, and the developer runs no server: your learning progress is stored only on your device.
Stored on your device
Stage stars and unlocked stages, per-word correct/wrong counts, in-game shells and home backgrounds, pet-care records, sound and speech settings, notification settings and the last day you played, and the number of rounds finished (used to space out full-screen ads). Deleting the app deletes this data; Settings › Clear records resets progress. Your device's backup may include it.
Pronunciation
Words are read aloud with your device's text-to-speech engine. The English word is passed to that engine and, depending on your device settings, may be processed by its provider (e.g. Google, Apple).
Ads
We show a top banner and a full-screen ad every five rounds through Google AdMob. Google may collect and use device information such as the Android advertising ID (and on iOS the IDFA, if you allow tracking), IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interactions, under Google's partner policy and Google's Privacy Policy. Ads are limited to the G (general audiences) rating. In the EEA/UK a consent form appears on first launch and can be changed in Settings › Ad privacy choices. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings. On iOS (from version 1.2.0) the app shows an IDFA explainer and asks for tracking permission; everything works without it, and you can change it in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
In-app purchases
From version 1.2.0 you can buy interstitial ad removal, a character (Sea Bunny) and a decoration set. Payments are handled by Google Play or the App Store; we never receive card details. What you bought is stored on the device and can be restored through the store. Purchase events (product and amount) may be recorded in analytics (Firebase).
Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to see how many people use the app and when. Usage events (installs, launches, time in app, stage start/end with stage number and correct count), an app-instance ID, device and OS information, and approximate region derived from the IP address are sent to Google. No name, contact or advertising ID is sent, and the data is not used for ad personalization. Install and launch events may be used by Google Ads to measure whether our app ads led to installs (ad measurement, from version 1.3.0). No crash reports are sent. Where ad consent is required and not given, analytics is not sent either.
Notifications
If you turn on Settings › Notifications, the app reminds you at 16:30 and 19:30 each day (skipped on days you played). These are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent anywhere.
Age
The game is for learners of all ages and is not directed only at children under 13.
